Back out until you get to the Doki Doki Literature Club folder, mine is in a list of my other steam games in a folder called common, which is in a folder called steamapps. Inside the DDLC folder is also the ominous character folder and inside it is one file labeled monika.chr. You can easily Delete Monika’s file from your computer with the help of Steam and also you can do that without steam. You just have to delete Monika’s folder from the Characters in DDLC.

After deleting this file, the game will update, deleting Wallace and Monika's memory of everything that has happened. In Act 4, after starting a new game, the game appears to be normal, up until Sayori addresses the player at the end of the day, thanking them for deleting Monika.At this, Monika comes to the realization that any character who falls into the president role will become self-aware and figure out that DDLC is actually just a game and that the characters have no free will.

Introduction

Ever noticed how you can't impress Monika on the poem writing scene?
As you can see, Monika is not visible in the bottom right. But it's still possible to impress her, though it does involve manipulating files.
Make sure to open the Doki Doki game folder by right clicking the game in your library and selecting properties, then going to local files and clicking browse local files.

Alternatively, you can go into This PC, program filesx86, Steam, Steam apps, common and finding Doki Doki Literature Club in your list of games.

Which Files to Manipulate

First, ensure you are on a fresh install of Doki Doki.
This can be done by uninstalling the game or by deleting a folder in the games directory called 'first run'. You can find it in the 'game' folder.
Next, ensure you boot the game at least once and hit 'new game'. Ensure you save at least once too.
Finally, you want to go to the 'characters' folder and delete every character except Monika.
